Marketing case studies for software companies: How 4Pack turned customer stories into stronger sales conversations
Our software client 4Pack needed marketing case studies as part of its content strategy. 4Pack helps consumer goods, food and drink brands manage the data behind packaging, products and artwork. Its software solves a specialist and often complex business problem, but the people involved in buying or influencing a solution are not always packaging specialists themselves.
That made clear, credible customer stories valuable. 4Pack needed a way to explain the commercial and operational impact of its work through real client experience, without reducing complex projects to thin claims or marketing soundbites.
Helen Poole, Managing Director of 4Pack UK, understood the argument for case studies, but had rarely seen examples that convinced her. She described many of the case studies she had seen elsewhere as lacking credibility: “they were thin, bullet-pointed, unconvincing.”
Working with Remedy changed that view. The process gave 4Pack a structured way to capture customer evidence, protect important client relationships and turn complex stories into assets the sales and marketing team could use with confidence.
“What Remedy does is completely different to case studies I’d seen before. The real interviews, the professional writing, the structured sign-off – it all adds up to something that carries genuine weight.”
For 4Pack, choosing the right case study service for a packaging software company meant finding a partner who could understand the depth of the work, draw out the customer’s own words and manage the whole process professionally.
The finished case studies now support 4Pack across its website, LinkedIn activity, outreach and sales follow-up. They are also used as supporting evidence in RFI and RFP responses, giving prospects a clearer view of what changes when businesses use 4Pack.
As Helen explains: “The case studies work at every stage of the sales process. By the time a prospect gets in touch, they’ve already done their research. The case study is the confirmation.”
This case study focuses specifically on 4Pack’s customer story programme. You can also read our related case study on Remedy’s wider marketing support for 4Pack, which shows how the work fits into a broader positioning, content and visibility strategy.
